This week, we’re celebrating UH Homecoming! This year’s theme is “Be Someone,” and at #UHBauer, we’re all about leaving behind a legacy (just look to our namesake, Charles T. “Ted” Bauer.)
Here, we’re highlighting two of our students, sharing in their own words the legacy they want to leave.

MIS and Finance Senior

“A legacy of action, not activism. A legacy of not complaining about things not being right, but one of working to fix it.”
Audrey Fogle
MIS Senior

“The legacy I want to leave behind at Bauer is that you can do anything you put your heart and mind to. You are so powerful in how you want your story to be told. We can be our biggest critics, and not give ourselves enough credit for how far we’ve come and how much we’ve done, but I want people to realize that as long as you’ve worked hard and put your best foot forward every day, one day you’ll be able to wake up and say you made it.
I pushed myself for years until I finally received a full time offer, and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it any other way. I love this school and everything it’s done for me and the opportunities given. I want people to know that you can do it, you can get that job you want, you can work that company you love, you can get your degree while working and commuting.
It’s all possible, but it’s all up to how much you believe in yourself.”
