Alumni Kim Sawyer has come a long way since attending undergraduate business classes at the University of Houston 20 years ago.
Sawyer earned an undergraduate degree in entrepreneurship from the University of Houston and a Master’s Degree in organizational development from the University of Texas – he’s now an Executive Coach and Facilitator who owns and manages theWealthSource, an executive coaching firm with clients that include Continental Airlines, Chevron-Texaco and JP Morgan Chase.
Here is his story in his words:
I went back to school mid-life in 1996 and found the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship (then CEI).
I was accepted to the third class.
Because of the CEI, I grew and sold my business, navigated into a new career that led me from small business consulting to training to Organizational Development (and a Masters Degree in that), I started a new business in this industry (theWealthSource, LP) which has ultimately led to what lately I call Enterprise Coaching.
Today I am a very successful and professionally fulfilled coach, facilitator and speaker. I have stayed very proud and active as a mentor and speaker in the WCE and I owe the huge majority of my success to Bauer.
