It’s the first week of the fall semester, and you’ve probably found your classes, purchased your textbooks and figured out parking, but do you know how to navigate the ins & outs of #UHBauer student life?
Check out our #UHBauer Guide to Having the Best Semester Ever!
Community

If you’re looking for ways to get involved and make instant friends, know that #UHBauer has over 25 student organizations! You can learn about all the college’s organizations next week (Aug. 27-29) during Rush Week in Melcher Hall!
Career

As a #UHBauer student, you’ve got dedicated career services specifically designed to help our business students land the best jobs and internships. Visit the Rockwell Career Center (located in Cemo Hall, second floor) to meet with staff who will help you prep for interviews, review your résumé and connect you to employers. Speaking of which, Rockwell Career Center hosts a biannual career fair (Sept. 13 in the fall) where you can meet 100s of employers looking for students to fill part-time and full-time positions!
Advising

Sure, you’ve got your Fall 2019 schedule set, but a visitor or two to Bauer College’s graduate and undergraduate advisors should definitely be on your agenda for the first part of the semester. Meet with your designated advisor for tips on future semesters or your graduation plan. Undergrads, be sure to make an appointment with your advisor frequently, located in Melcher Hall 262. MBA students can make an appointment to meet with advisor Marian Newman.

Events

Another great way to get involved and to stay connected with the college is to attend #UHBauer events! Your online resource to stay up-to-date on what events are planned is the Bauer Events Calendar. Events range from information sessions to special guest speakers and more!
