Photos, or it didn’t happen! Snagging the perfect backdrop to document your adventures isn’t always so easy, but in Houston, you can find Instagrammable spots around almost every corner.
Here, we list a few of our favorite spots, along with some tips to grab the perfect photo for the ‘gram.
EaDo Wall

Nothing says East Downtown (EaDo) like this wall mural that represents everything Houston.
Location: EADO Fitness – 2955 Gulf Freeway, Suite A
Tips: This wall art definitely gives you plenty of room to take wide shots, so bring as many friends as you like!
You Are My Sunshine

A neutral color wall with a simple message. What more could a minimalist Instagrammer ask for!?
Location: On the back wall of Thread, 249 W 19th St., Suite C
Tips: Located on the west side of the building, be sure to hit this location up before 2 p.m. so that the actual sunshine won’t be glaring in your eyes!
Love

Located in The Heights, this Wiley Robertson wall art lets you show the “love” for your city.
Location: 1050 Yale St. (the former post office)
Tips: This wall art is very wide, so if you use panoramic view on your phone, or have a wide-angle lens, you’ll be able to get the perfect shot!
No Time Like the Present

Let’s face it. Present Company was BUILT for Instagram opportunities! The entire location is an Insta-fanatics dream!
Location: Present Company – 1318 Westheimer Rd.
Tips: This bright location allows for multiple Instagram photo setups. It definitely has a tropical theme to it, so wear your best “beach casual” and get ready to strike a pose.
Be Inspired

One of the first murals to be painted to promote Houston by the local artist Gonzo. This wild graphic definitely captures the spirit of Houston.
Location: 313 Travis St.
Tips: Like many art walls, this one is located in a parking lot that is currently in use. The cars do block the wall at the bottom, so if you’re looking to score a full picture with you in it, we suggest going early in the morning, or after 5 p.m.
